Hey guys,
So i was having some pains and problems in my tummy region, i had bloods and my esr and a few others (cant remember names were elevated) so added with my symptoms Drs thought it was my gallbladder and fat intolerance. Anyway i was sent for an ultrasound and the radiographer said everything looked fine, so i left happy and thought theyll take more bloods and we will go from there.
2 days later get a call from my Dr telling me that they found some unusual texture on my liver, now mine isnt down to drinking and even though i dont look it my bmi is classed as obese. Hes told me to focus on losing weight and exercise and hes referring me to a 12 week intense gym/diet thing. But heres where it scares me, hes referred me to a gastro specialist for more tests (why ifhe thinks its just a fatty liver?) he wouldnt tell me what tests nor would he tell me how bad it is, he said he cant not put me in the small group of high risk people, so my head has gone to cirrhosis or liver cancer, my liver bloods were normal though.
My head has gone through the roof and i cant grasp whats going on/whats been said so im waiting for a call from my Dr as its really affected me and im eating about 200-500 cals a day because im scared im making it worse.
I hope with all hopes its just a fatty liver and not worse, but i know people who have fatty livers and had no tests except ultrasound so why me? Eurghhhh, will keep you updated xx
