Hi Everyone,

Just the obligatory introduction post :blush:

I’m a 44yo female and live south of Melbourne, Australia. I’ve always been anxious but was formally diagnosed with Major (Unipolar) Depression when I was 19yo.

I also have a long history of drug and alcohol abuse - the alcohol landed me in hospital twice with Pancreatitis in my 30s and I’ve pretty much managed to knock that addiction on the head, but still have various chemical vices. I’m on 20mg Fluoxetine and 10mg Diazepam for the anxiety and see my psychiatrist about once a month.

Anyway, I’ve been joining a few different forums lately because I find it very helpful to know I’m not alone with this.
