If I have a cut under my finger nail? Idk if my fingernail punctured into it or if the cut came contact with it. I just felt the squishiness. Help please im scared.

That would be a no :)

It's the actual bite of the tick that causes it and the longer the tick is attached the higher the risk :)

Yup! And I believe its the saliva that causes transmition. Plus the tick has to be attached to you for a good few hours before transmission becomes an issue :)

As a vet - I can honestly say no. The tick would need to physically attach to you, release it’s saliva which causes your blood to stop clotting in that area and then feed. They’d have to be on for a while to do this :)
