Hey everyone.

I have been diagnosed with anxiety by my doctor a month ago from how I’m feeling and my symptoms an all. But I’ve never had a proper panic attack before. I’ve told him that too and he still gave me help. It’s just I’ve never heard of anyone having anxiety and not having panic attacks. Is anyone else out there like me?

A panic attack is a symptom of anxiety but not everyone has them. Based on your posts, there's no doubt in my mind that your doctor's diagnosis is correct.

Regular panic attacks are a sign of Panic Disorder. They obviously occur in other anxiety disorders but they are not a diagnostic criteria.

I don't have panic attacks. But I have what my doctor described as anxiety attacks which don't go all the way to panic level but just sit me on the edge for hours.

Interesting Terry. What would you say were the differences, physical and mental, between anxiety attacks and lancing attacks?

That should say panic attacks.....auto correct gone mad

I thought panic attacks and anxiety attacks were the same thing.
