Citalopram/reflux/weightloss

Hi
I am new to this website. I have previously taken Citalopram for anxiety twice before and it worked really well. I restarted on 20mg of Citalopram for anxiety 8 weeks ago and the reflux and gastric pain is really increasing my anxiety. I have tried ranitidine and esomeprazole with little improvement. Has anyone had severe gastric response to Citalopram ?

I dont know about severe, but I am currently on week 7 at 20mg, and had horrible bowel movements and gastric pain. I too still have the gastric pain from time to time depending on what i eat, but it was horrible in the beginning. Its still lingering which sucks. I havent noticed any reflux though. im still hoping this will go away and if not i may have my doc drop down my dosage so we'll see!
