Please help

I have tonsillitis, been to doctors this morning and they said its strep throat and gave me anti biotics , since coming home I have got the shivvers and ache all over.
I am now in full panic mode, thinking sepsis and allthen sorts.
Is it normal to have chills and aches when you have strep throat ?

It's normal to have chills and aches with any infection.

I have tonsillitis all the time, it is the infection getting worse especially strep throat. Try to relax, take the meds and some pain meds to help ibruprofen and codiene for 3 days will help. Also I find lucozade and milkshake keeps your energy up

Thanks guys much appreciated,I amhave really achey and shivvery but I imoroved slightly last night, just woke up feeling rubbish again. Taking them meds. This has got to be one of the worst things ive ever had
