Had to go to hospital and coped

On friday I was brushing my cat,to help her out as she gets fur balls.Well she bit me on the arm and left a tooth mark:mad: On saturday night the area she bit became hot painfull and swollen and very itchy.My family suggested I go to A & E,well I didnt want to go,but my partner took me.I coped really well.I did get anxious but I managed not to panic.Luckily A & E was not busy and I didnt have to wait.They put me on a course of antibiotics incase in becomes infected,which they dont think will.Its just swelling that usualy comes up in the first 24 hrs.This time last year I would have been in an awful state having to go to hospital,my partner stayed with all the time.Thats what you get for trying to help your cat!!!!!!!:shrug: :shrug:

Hospitals are always crappy, i just have too see a hospital sign and i get all anxious!!!!

Its quite common to swell up if you get a cat scratch or bite!!!

You did right to have it checked tho cos you can get something called cat scratch fever which isent dangerous but uncomfy:lac:
