Left rib fullness/pain FREAKING OUT

Since Christmas I have had this fullness and sometimes pain in my left side under my rib cage. Of course Googling led me to believe its an enlarged spleen and now im freaking out thinking i have lymphoma or leukemia or something.

Symptoms:
Pain and fullness under left rib cage that comes and goes
Bloated stomach and gas
Extreme heartburn and indegestion

Someone please tell me something!

sounds like heartburn and indigestion so see a doctor and get that confirmed then get some treatment.

I went through this as I used to get, and sometimes still get, something similar.

My doctor palpated my spleen at my physical and said it was normal. You can have it checked out pretty easily, they should be able to tell if it us enlarged by feeling around a bit.

It might be what's known "splenic flexure syndrome". Also, sometimes something like this can just be gas, indigestion, or constipation.

Went to the Doctor today and she palpated my belly and said my abdomen felt very tight like it had a lot of gas. She said my spleen did not feel enlarged. She referred me to a GI to see why I am having so much trouble.
