I’ve been doing okay for a few days but now the brain tumour fears are hitting me hard again and for such strange, random reasons.
So last night while I was asleep I woke myself up by laughing in my sleep. I just googled it like I do with a lot of my dreams and stuff and it said laughing in your sleep can be linked to a neurological disorder....like a BRAIN TUMOUR?! Okay what.....now it’s totally set me off.
I feel like all the symptoms are hitting me square in the face and I’m going crazy. I wanted to start this year a fresh but it’s not happening 😞
Come on how come laughing in ur dream be linked to a tumor?. We do so many things while dreaming and laughing can be one of those. With anxiety I feel the symptoms that I am afraid off, like if I am afraid off having headache I 'll have one. If I am aafraid off numbness , I'll start experiencing it
You dont have a brain tumor and everything we read online isn't true. My younger brother has 2 very rare types of brain tumors. He was diagnosed when he was 5 years old, he is 32 years old now and he still has them as they are inoperable. I have never heard any of his specialist say laughing in your sleep is a sign of a brain tumor and I have never read it anywhere either. I myself have at times woke up laughing and my 3 year old daughter does it all the time.. Neither of us have a brain tumor.
Try to relax. If you convince yourself that you have a brain tumor you will start seeing every normal and off thing your body does as a symptom of it.
So this couldn't possibly be you were laughing at something funny in a dream? That's one hell of a leap to a brain tumor!

Yes me too, I think sleep has been an issue for me for a while actually. Kind of scared to sleep in case I wake up feeling worse, etc, etc

Thank you for your reply. It is so silly, I know, I need to really learn to relax and stop this.

It's crazy, it is probably the silliest one I've ever said. I honestly don't know why I have to be like this!
