Hi everyone , on sunday i went down with 2 ear infections.
The antibiotics im taking are helping the stabbing pains but then today I had some horrible dull pains right thru my head so got another appointment.
Today I had another doctor whos told me i have a sore on my ear drum and fluid behind both ear drums :mad: .
We then got talking about my dizziness and I told her I always am dizzy cos of my anxiety but she said It all sounds like Vertigo to her and that she wants me to see a Ear nose and throat specialist because the type of infection I have is usually only seen in children and its rare in adults (epecially in both ears) . Then she done some vertigo tests on me and said I do have vertigo, AT LAST im not going mad !!!
I didnt know if i should laugh ,cry or get angry cos no other doctor has listened to my problems about dizziness, its really bad that its taken them 5 years to find out I do have vertigo and not just anxiety dizziness.
The way i see it is like this...........
I started getting vertigo then it got so bad i started to panic everytime I got vertigo, THEN cos I got scared of being dizzy, I developed a phobia of it .
Then I got normal anxiety dizzy which I believed was going to turn into proper vertigo. Its all been a nightmare but at last Ive been told the truth.
I will be having further tests at ENT :yesyes:
