What’s wrong with me??

Hi I’ve recently had some blood tests done. I’ve been told today that the full blood test needs to be repeated. My white blood count was low (3.3) and the neurophils were also low (1.6). Im really panicking. I’ve had frequent throat infections (several courses of antibiotics), have chest pain (heartburn like) and am lethargic. Scared it’s leukaemia or lymphoma. Please advise - what do these blood results mean??

I don't think anyone here is qualified to read blood results, did you ask the doctor what the results meant?

Not trying to be unhelpful but it would be better to get answers from your GP about medical test results rather than us since I doubt many of us even know what's normal and what isn't. My gp doesn't even tell us the numbers, only if it's fine or not.

Did they explain why they are repeating the tests? Did you ask? When are they doing them?

Thanks so much both. They are being repeated on Monday. The receptionist gave me the results and scheduled Mondays appt. I haven’t spoken to a doctor about them. I’ve only looked at dr Google which has really frightened me. Here’s to a panic stricken weekend/week!! X
