Back Pain

This is a another post about my chest infection sorry. Yesterday I was beginning to feel better and cough certainly getting better. However I'm still very worried about my back pain and muscle aches. Are these still to be expected? It's now really getting me down and worried that something else is going on. I haven't had any blood tests apart from the pulmonary embolism one and feel that this is something I should now be offered. I've not gone back to wok as I'm so tired but falling down the HA spiral now. Hope someone here can give some advice. Thanks

From what I am reading here, the flu or respiratory infection going around in your area is pretty awful. People have said they are having aches and pains with it. Coughing can also cause back pain. And if you have been overly concerned about your health you are very likely physically tense, which will also add to your body aches. What you need is to rest and let your body heal itself...And it will!

Been signed off for another week and given amitryptiline for the pain relief.
