Been on 8 months any questions fire away

Was put on this as was underweight to give me an appetite and it did and I look so much better for it. But don't want to stay on it and become obese.

Due to grief weights dropping off anyway.

I've been on it 8 months anyone with any questions fire away.

Hi Fudge - Did you have any other issues apart from weight? If not, and you are now normal weight, could you think about tapering off or reducing the dose?

I'm currently reducing. No side effects and it did help my mental health a great deal.

You put on weight but was it because you were eating more or just the drug itself? I am on 45mg mirt. and 150 quetiapine and I am eating very little but still gaining weight which is worrying me. Also, no discernible benefit mentally yet - although only been on them for a four weeks or so.
