I'm asking for a friend. Please PM me if you like, I don't want to trigger anyone on here by discussing symptoms/procedures etc.

Oh, I'm posting on here not a medical board because I don't really want to join up a medical forum as a) this is not my issue it's for a friend and neighbour's mum and b) as a health anxiety girl, I try to avoid Googling stuff like that as much as possible.

I'm just looking for practical advice. So if you've time, it would be much appreciated if you could PM me.
