Portsmouth area meet up (was dorset) CANCELLED

Right the meet up that was scheduled for 8th July at Highcliffe castle has been postponed as Piglet is unable to be there because of family commitments:weep:

People are still wanting to meet so we are now looking at still having the meet up but in the Portsmouth area:yesyes:

I use the term Portsmouth very loosley as we can go anywhere in that sort of area!!!

I suggest we still do 8th July at 2pm but the question now is who wants to come???:shrug:

And has anyone got an idea of a good venue.....bearing in mind the recent awful weather!!!

Need to move swiftly on this one a only 1 week tommorow now so over to you folks!!!:yesyes:

Don't know Pompey that well, but was wondering about Clarence Pier, Southsea or somewhere along there. But then I'm assuming bright sunshine :)

That said there is a pub in Southsea right on the water by the fair only prob is I cant remember the bloomin name of it lol

If I can find the name out we could meet there and if people want to visist fair amusements etc then its in the heart of the action.......

Will try to find name out and report back.....in the meanwhile anyone else???

Right tis called The Clarence.....

Its brewers fayre so coffee tea and eats are an option!!!:D

Theres a large glass area from memory so you can see the sea and be outdoors and indoors at the same time!!!

Obviously smoking isent an issue as it has been banned in pubs!!

Seems good to me but still open to suggestions!!!
