HSV meningitis? How common?

Apparnetly you can get meningitis from cold sores?? I get cold sores and now am scared I will come down with meningitis. How common is this?

Your posting history here is a long list of asking strangers if perfectly normal things are going to cause serious harm. I doubt you're any less capable of working out this than any of us are.
