on antibiotics and now have a cold - can my body fight it?

Hi All,
On a crap load of antis for h pylori and now I have a cold.
I imagine my immune system is pretty low - will I be able to fight this cold or am I heading into trouble.
I really hate taking antibiotics!
I still have 4 days to go!

What kind of trouble are you expecting? Finish your meds and let your body do its job. Eat good, healthy food, hydrate, sleep, rinse and repeat.

Take probiotics and eat plenty of nutrient rich food, drink plenty of water.

AB's don't destroy your immune system completely and it's just a cold. You'll be fine.

Lots of vitamin C throughout the day. Works for me and has spared me needing antibiotics for the first time in my life for chest & throat infections (I'm an asthma sufferer so antibiotics are usually needed). But do finish the course and keep in with your GP about your infection.
