Hi, guys.
I'm terrified at the moment because I'm pretty sure I'm becoming seriously ill.
I went to the doctors recently over a persistent upset stomach I've had for over 3 weeks every single day. I was just told to keep a food diary for a while and then come back after a month because the nurse suspects it's something I'm eating.
Symptoms have gotten worse since then and besides the heavy bloating and feeling like my stomach is going to explode from the pressure, I'm getting back pains, hip pains, pain behind the breast bone (generally when I breathe) random stomach aches, pains in my hip, fatigue, excessive gas which is foul-smelling and a very high temperature which is on and off.
I'm really scared it's something like ovarian cancer. The doctors I've seen don't think it's anything and probably think I'm a hypochondriac, but these symptoms aren't normal for me at all. I don't know what to do. My stomach just feels like it's going to burst open. I can barely sleep because of it. Should I ask the doctor if they can refer me to have an ultrasound done to ease my mind?
