Hi please could anyone help with any advice I have been getting lots of headaches lately I went to drs last week saw a nurse practitioner and she just said take ibuprofen did blood pressure, felt head and neck and said drink more water and come back in a couple of weeks if no better well for about 5 days they did ease of a bit, then on Saturday my right arm and leg felt a bit weak/achey then on the Sunday I got headache back again it's mainly right sided but moves about from top of head to above the temple, it varies pain wise sharp stabbing to deep throbbing type in top of head and then I have the funny weak feeling in right arm don't think it is weak as I can do everything just feels It, I am so worried this is a brain tumour or something else I am having CBT at minute for health anxiety but we are at worse before better stage I think.its never a really bad pain just more bothersome and makes me feel anxious then more pain, thanks any advice would be good thanks toria x

I've been through this fear myself. I think that headaches, more than most symptoms, are very influenced by anxiety and hyper attention. Whenever I am going through a phase of worrying about headaches, I get more headaches. It sucks

Hi toria just came by your post and thought I would message u. Ive had severe chronic headaches since march 2016 pretty much constant. At first I was diagnoised with migraines. Evenually I asked my gp to refer me to headache specialist who thinks I'm suffering with cluster headaches which are rare but extremely painful. my pain switches sides when its really bad it feels like a gripping pain and almost like a dull ache a bruise but other times it can be around my temple which feels sharp and stabbing. I suffer with health anxiety and all this is making me worry its something serious. Ive had scans but nothing has shown but I'm still worried as my mother had a stroke at 53. My specialist told me its rare to have a headache with a brain tumor.
