Hello everyone
My 24 year son has probably suffered with anxiety most of his life without realising, I did take him to counsellors through out his teenage years due to some of his behaviours but he resisted this help. Long story my ex husband taught him to drink to dangerous levels which he used as self medication. Finally he has come and got help, this is the problem....he has tried various SSRI’s and is now two weeks into Mirtazapine for the second time, and now on 30mg.

He is no further forward and anxiety really bad and not sleeping. Has a great therapist but a year on and we are no further forward...I/we can’t cope with the hopelessness...is there any advice on this great forum?
