Anyone had fluid in middle ear. Have had two doctors check and the left one is mostly cleared now but not the right. Had two doses of antibiotics and still not cleared. Its been 6 weeks. Worse part is off balance feeling which i think has got worse but that would make sense if one ear was blocked now instead of 2. If you have had this how long did it take to clear ?

I have had that. Even went to an ENT about it in November. It eventually clears up, but can take awhile. Mine is ok now, but I think it took a few months. I quit taking all the nasal steroids and the allergy meds they were giving me and I felt like it cleared up faster after that. I was just tired of taking meds that weren't working.

Yes, all the time. That was one of the main things that made it bothersome for me. I always had popping sensations as well. It has cleared up now and I don't take any meds for it. One of my kids had fluid in the ear for about a year before it cleared up. It wasn't causing her any issues though.

Oh yeah totally, really bad! I think I wrote a thread about it actually because it was giving me very bad anxiety. My head feels heavy, it hurts and I feel very spacey sometimes. It just feels super uncomfortable! I've suffered with sinus problems for a long time so I'm hoping this year it will go away. I think once my sinus problems clear up I will have no more problems and my health anxiety will go.

But don't worry, fluid in the middle ear will definitely cause you to be dizzy, your balance is going to be slightly messed up!

Please read the below post from Admin. You are posting about a lot of different things frequently. Perhaps start a thread where you can keep all of your worries in one place.

Can posters, especially those who are posting a lot about a variety of fears please confine their posts to one thread.

This helps others to build up a clear picture of what is happening and makes it easier to offer suitable advice.

You may not see the pattern but usually it is there, especially if you are posting frequently about different things.

Due to technical problems it is proving difficult to merge posts so for the moment any posts that we feel should be on a previous thread will be closed, allowing you the opportunity to re-post on your existing thread.

Your co-operation with this would be greatly appreciated.
