Piles or anal fissure

Hi guys
Hope someone can help . I have been suffering what I can only describe as anal pressure for a while . Seen consultant and she thinks it's maybe piles or fissure . Anyone else suffered this . I have had no bleeding and blood tests all good . Had constipation as was on codiene . That was 3 months ago . Treating as piles ! At Christmas was so sore I could hardly walk . Just spooks me s bit ! Going for a sigmoidoscopy a week Monday to see if it's fissure .
