View Full Version : Bony Lump above/behind ear
I have severe health anxiety, and I just noticed that on both sides of my head there’s a hard, semi-round bump. It’s right above the bone behind my ears, it feels like it could also be bone, but I feel like I’ve never noticed it before. Does anyone know if this is normal?
Is It like under both ears??

Yes it's on each side. And directly behind my ears there's a bone that I'm pretty sure everyone has, but above that bone there is a hard lump on each side. I just don't know if it's always been there or if it's new, so I'm concerned

Is the bone that’s directly below ur ears that u think is normal, is it like big and soft? Or is it hard and curves inward towards ur ear??
?? I’m asking because I might have the same thing
If you want to get an appreciation for all the normal bumps on our heads, sit behind several guys who shave their heads at church! If it is on both sides, dont worry.
