Sharp Pain Left Side

Hey everyone

So I've had touch and go constipation and this time it's lasted about 5-6 days before going to the bathroom and now lately I've had a sharp pain now and then on my left upper abdomen near my ribcage and I'm getting concerned as to what it could be?

Could it be related to constipation as I am an constant sufferer of constipation and the pain isn't bad or constant nor does it hurt when i apply pressure

Would appreciate reassurance so I don't have a freak out over this

I sometimes get this and it comes and goes. I never understood its cause, but I presume it is after a major bout of anxiety and especially if I am sitting slouched. While I'm not a medical professional, it sounds similar to what I get and then forget about it. In your description you said it "comes and goes" this is certainly not a serious malignancy causing it then. If it were, it would be painful and consistent and gradually get worse. It may even be a tummy bug.
