Sharp pain under rib cage??

Hey all today i've been having sharp pains on my left side, directly under my ribcage... i been having it all day

I remember i had this before a month ago but then it lasted only a few hours, now it's longer...

I looked up pics of the human anatomy and i think it's where the left kidney or just upper stomach is... it seems a little too low for it to be the spleen... but maybe it's not even from organs? I don't think it's a muscle tho it doesn't hurt more when i move but i could be wrong

Anyone else get this?

it's like the side stitch pain you get when running... but little higher up

i had something similar (which comes back every now and again!) my doctor told me it was inflammation of ligaments in my chest/bottom of my rib cage. It had a name which has escaped me now but it felt like a stitch. It can happen for lots of reasons sneezing, lifting a shopping bag etc. visit your doctor though if you're really concerned or if it's really hurting
