Hi all - I'm suffering with what I think is GAD symptoms but they are VERY physical. I've been to the Doctor and I am on the 4th day of Citalopram, so I'd like to know if these are familiar;
- Shivers/electric waves like goosebumps rushing over my whole body from bottom to top.
- The shiver continues more intensely at the base of my skull and into my jaw, lasting 1 second at a time and is very disturbing/uncomfortable.
- Numbness/tingling in left side of face
- Unfamiliar aching in arm muscles
- Eyes finding it hard to focus on anything for more than a second
- Minor tinitus
- Random tension in head, leading to "rushing" sound.
- Fluctuating thoughts and emotions, changing second by second, making a minute feel like it's lasting an hour.
- Any kind of thought not focussed on the present moment triggers feelings of intense fear and all of the above.
Any thoughts?
