Lumbar mri what will it show?

I know there aren't any medical people here but if any forum users have had a lumbar mri do you know from personal experience ( not google) what it can show e.g. does it show any organs or just the spine , nerves etc.

I think it just shows your lower spine as in your disc's and bones. I take it you're having one for lower back pain? I had one Feb 2017.

I went on the search box and found it in my threads but count seem to find which forum it's on. I'm obviously donindg something wrong

Can anyone help me with the answer please? When the dr sent me for lumbar mri she said it would show "everything". I took that literally but now im wondering if she just meant everything bone related? I still have pain and its over 2 months since the scan which didnt show anything significant. Maybe it doesnt show "everything" . I know i could google it but im really trying to stop doing that because it makes my anxiety worse. Does anyone know what it can detect? Please?
