Hi there!
It’s back again, my health anxiety.

About a month ago I felt a weird bone-like lump behind my left ear, it’s not stuck to my ear but more like a finger pad width from my earlobe it’s painless fixed (feels like it’s part of the bone) and pea sized and it hasn’t changed size since then, I have a smaller one one the other side so I thought that it’s just a part of the anatomy but I’ve checked it today and they don’t seem at the same place one each side, could it be bone cancer? I’m terrified and I’ve just learned that bone cancer is not treatable if it’s metastatic.
Am I reading too much into it?

It is not bone cancer - they are lymph nodes.

But it feels like bone and it’s fixed, should I be worried.

I have it tooooo!! On my left ear and I've had it for several years. It's a pea shape (finger pad if I put my finger on it) hard fixed lump behind my ear on the bone. My ENT specialist looked at it and says it's nothing wrong even though it's not on my other ear bone. It's stayed the same size so I guess he's right. I think it's a lymph node too.
