Hi all - it’s been awhile :(
Two nights ago I noticed a pretty big lump on the back of my knee. I got into my GP today to see it and was being SO CALM. I honestly assumed she’d say “no big deal”. Instead she said, “well, it’s probably a cyst but we want to get an ultrasound to make sure it’s not a tumor or other mass”.
STILL somewhat calm at this points. Then the nurse leads me out to billing to make an ultrasound appointment and I overhear the lady say”she needs a STAT ultrasound get her in tonight”. So now I’m panicking, assuming the worst, thinking the doctor probably believes it’s something terrible but doesn’t want to tell me :( I am freaking out and I don’t know what to do. Anyone with advice please share.
