I live in a pretty old house with a roommate and my roommate's dog, and the house uses a gas furnace for heat. Right now, I am, for some reason, so paranoid that I am currently experiencing carbon monoxide poisoning. :( I'm very tired, and I have a bit of a headache. I think I'm freaking out because my roommate is not here and CO poisoning is supposed to be kind of a silent killer. Unfortunately, I don't have a CO reader, but I've just turned off the heat in my apartment to keep it from running. Right now, I just really need some words of reassurance!

Get a monitor and then you will feel safer. That is the only solution.

If you are worried can you not call out the gas/plumber service to check for CO levels, we have our fire etc service once per year, we been told soon we could need to get a Carbon monitor

Yep get a monitor, order one on amazon....you'll get it really quickly.

If your boiler serviced? If not then you both need to arrange this as it should be done yearly.
