I'm so happy I found this forum. Hoping you all can give me some advice. For years...I've had blood with my bowel movements. It doesn't seem to be in the blood and it seems to be bright red although I do have clots too when I wipe sometimes. I have constipation, diarrhea and the blood. I'll have it for like months on end everytime I go and then it will be good for a few days or months and then it comes on again. I def. have external hemmoriods. I went to the doctor a few years ago and got a colonoscopy and he tested the lining of my intestine and said it was normal and didn't see anything so said it was probably just hemmoriods. So..since then nothing has really changed. But every so often when I have a 3 month bout of bleeding (not just blood on toilet paper, but in the toilet and it seems like a lot) I freak out and think something else must be wrong. Help..do I need to see the doctor again? Do you think it could be internal hemmroids bleeding that much?
