I was wondering if anyone else here is also Diabetic? Having talked to my doctor about my diabetes which has not been under control for many years, he has said that diabetes can also trigger depression because of the rise and fall of blood sugars amoung other things. I also have polycysitic ovaries which again reading in books can also trigger depression. I was wondering if anyone else has these problems and if they think they can cause mood swings.
Also can someone tell me what bi-polar is? Someone asked me if I had it?
many thanks

Don't know the answers to your other questions, but bi-polar is the new name for what used to be called manic depression, where the person swings backwards and forwards between depression and manic episodes, where they are so hyperactive, they can't rest at all and they may end up being sedated.
BUT............don't go worrying that you've got it, it's far more extreme than the hormonal mood swings we women get!
