From three years I am stuck in loop of getting tested for blood born infections and fearing that I am somehow infected from blood test. I had my last test two months back. I am paranoid that lab technician has knowingly infected me with contaminated blood. I mentioned him about my fear and he had no idea what I was talking, he looked quite annoyed. I think that he somehow dipped syringe in blood sample kept on the table to purposely infect me, when I was not looking while he was placing needle in holder. He didn't look educated to me. I went to good clinic franchise here.
I have been to infectious specialist and he is fed up of me told me I am banned from his clinic , I don't have anything and wants me talk to physiologist. I don't want to take medicines. Please help.

Dr did not even see the or ask the symptoms. He just brushed it off saying that doesn't happen. I am having oral thrush with pain which doesn't seems to go away and back pain. This time I actually did not see what the guy was doing. After he showed me the needle he was going to use. And I am very quickly loosing weight.

Is anyone here who have blood draw experience? I would like to how easy it is to infect someone this way if a person wants to harm you. If blood samples are kept right in front of the lab tech , if I look away for 2 mins. Is it easy for him to dip the needle from someone's blood sample?

Ok, take a step back from the situation here and look at how irrational this thought you have is.

Also, not that I want to entertain this thought, but how long ago was this blood sample taken in conjunction to when these symptoms popped up?

Blood sample was taken 2 months back. Symptoms have started from last two week.
I understand it sounds irrational but people do irrational things and want to intentionally hurt others.
I am thinking to go to the same lab tommorow and talk to the person again. But I am 100% sure he will say they use new syringe every thing happened in front of me.

I understand it sounds irrational

Respectfully, it is irrational. I can't imagine this even being a remote possibility unless you're a Russian spy that Putin wants to take out!

Oral thrush does not happen in HIV patients that have only been recently infected. It is seen in people who have full blown AIDS.

The general pain is probably from your anxiety being tensed up from these intrusive thoughts, and the thrush is probably dry mouth from your anxious state.

Nobody is going to infect you on purpose. Your mind is running wild, and you need to get help for it.

So it has been 6-8 weeks since this lab test, so if you really need to have closure, go and get a Gen 4 rapid test, where they can have the results to you in a less than an hour.

I only recommend this because you are obsessing, and sometimes it will take a negative test to reassure a person suffering like you are.

Get the test, believe the result, and move on with your life, and get help for these intrusive thoughts and obsessive behaviors.

God bless!
