Having a panic attack. I hyperventilate daily. This has been going on for months. I am wheezing really badly and its scaring me. I'm trying to calm my breathing but my thoughts are running away from me.

Try breathing into a paper bag. Remember that even if you end up passing out, it is a good thing, because if that happens, your breathing will return to normal on its own. You are not in any danger. Let the thoughts come through and acknowledge them then let them pass, eventually they will fade and the panic will pass. Try to think of it as memories purging from your mind and nothing more.

Thank you so much for your response. I was finally able to calm down and get a little sleep. The wheezing really scares me. I have been having sinus issues for about a week. This morning (not to be disgusting) when i woke up and cleared my throat there was a tiny bit of blood in a tiny bit of clear mucus. So, of course, another panic attack. I'm so tired.
