I've managed to keep on top of my panics for quite a while. Then something new happens and it all kicks in again.
I had a headache a few days ago - nothing abnormal in that. It had almost gone, then I was being rather energetic and it came back as a really sharp stabbing pain in my right temple. It subsided when I rested. Then a couple of days later, I had no headache at all but when exercising the sharp stabbing pain came back, in the same place. Again, it subsided over half an hour or so when I stopped.
So now obviously I am terrified that I'm about to have a stroke, bleed, burst artery in my temple. I've had no dizziness or confusion, it's not made my speech odd or my face. So my sensible head says it's probably a nerve firing off or something like that. But the stupid part is on full panic alert! I'm worried to do anything strenuous in case it comes back. I'm 56 an on statins, as my brother had a stroke in his 30's (he's ok). Any advice would be welcome!
