At doctor

So i am at the doctor for plantar fasciitis. This probably sounds silly to many of you but i have a profound fear of being in a doctors office. I am extremely nervous and my heart is racing. Logically i know what is going to happen here (X-ray, injection in heel) but i am very very scared. I have health anxiety but it is different in that i avoid doctors instead of seeking them out. Anybody been here, done that?

I have plantar fasciitis. It's very common and the treatments aren't invasive, unless you consider the injection invasive. It's bread and butter stuff to the doctors. You'll be absolutely fine.

Thanks for your reply. You were right. It went fine. The doctor was very nice and i got the injection.
