Blood test

Hi!
I went for a blood test a week ago today. Just routine as when I was pregnant with my 2 year old I had gestational diabetes.
So on Monday there I got called and asked to come back for another one (a week today)
Does anyone know why this would be?

My husband had blood taken for testing and was called back to the surgery. Turned out that the samples hadn’t reached the path lab in time so they needed fresh blood. It can be that simple!
