Hearing pulse scaring me

Hi . I've had this on and off for a while but seems to be getting more often.or is it that im listening for it?, if I turn my head certain ways i can stop it.but it's driving me nuts .Hearing the pounding of my pulse in my ears/ head anyone?

I get this every day. I have even had a brain scan but it showed nothing. It is worse when I am in bed as I can hear it constantly and it can keep me awake.
