A couple of days ago I had what i believe was a panic, the ambulance came and did an initial ECG and took me A&E saying that my right ventricle was large for someone my age. After calming and having something to eat, another ECG was done by the Doctor amd he said that it was fine. I'm still scared of the results of the initial ECG and don't know if them kind of results can show up during a panic attack. I have smoked heavily in the past amd do a lot of exercise and concerned about athletes heart and dropping dead any second. I have already booked an appointment see my Doctor but was just wondering if anyone could provide me with advise in the meantime

Hey I guess if the doctor sent you away he must have been pretty confident that you are fine! After all the doctors ecg is more valuable than the a and e ecg as he is more of a specialist and had more time to assess your. In other words don't worry about it but if it helps maybe just don't play sport for a small while until your doctors appointment just to keep yourself calm - that's literally what I'm doing right now! I love playing football but I've also booked an appointment with the doctor and will not play again until they assess me and say I'm okay to play! Stay positive if you can :)
