Flu and medication

Mostly have my anxiety under control due to taking medication regulary 30 mg paroxatine daily but I recently had a very bad flu virus at the end of march and ever since my anxiety has returned. Has anyone suffered the same and do you think the virus could have nutralised the effects of the medication .

I took Paroxatine 40mg for a number of years, it was my experience that nothing interfered with that medication. My suggestion would be to talk to your pharmacist about any possible interaction since they are the easiest to contact.
