So I've had this spot on my head for years and had it checked out maybe 5 or 6 times, each time the doctor said it was nothing but come back if it started bleeding. Well a month back it did. I don't know if the hairdresser got a bit aggressive with the clippers or what but it became scabbier than usual with a bit of blood. Saw a doctor about it a fortnight ago and she said it was hard to tell what it was and I needed to use some medicated shampoo then go back so she could have another look. Now the scab has cleared away but it's still weeping a bit and bleeding a little. I've got to see her again Wednesday morning but nothing will convince me that it's not a skin cancer and probably the worst kind.

I haven't been on here in a while and I thought I was keeping a lid on things but it's been a bad year so far, starting with my mother almost dying on new years day, and I'm starting to think that anxiety is something you're born with and just have to live with. Certainly no amount of medication or therapy has helped.

So anyone else got experience of scabby heads?

I'd get it checked out by a skin specialist just to be sure.
