I'm worried that I have undiagnosed CF or late onset of CF. I know it is usually diagnosed at birth but I believe I have lots of the symptoms. Sticky white mucus, sinus problems, tight chest, tiring easily at simple tasks and noises in the bowel. Is it CF? I have put myselt in a right state.

Doesn't sound like CF to me but we cannot diagnose it.

I work in a hospital Pharmacy, and we have a CF Outpatient clinic on the site. As such, alot of these patients come round to collect their medication (Dornase Alfa, Salbutamol etc).

The first noticeable thing about a person with CF is they usually have fingernail clubbing. Do you have this?

As well as that, the cough CF patients have is extremely productive of purulent phlegm. Smoker's cough/acute bronchitis is what it sounds like. Usually, they're on high-dose expectorants for this (Mucodyne/Carbocistine). As well as this, there are more symptoms, usually systemic, which would lead to diagnosis.

"Noises" in the bowel is probably peristalsis. This is normal and healthy.

See your Doctor for reassurance - I really highly doubt you have CF.
