What can an x Ray see?

Can a plain x Ray see abnormalities that aren't bone? I had a normal x Ray of my sacrum/coccyx/lower abdomen, but continue to have weird symptoms. If there were a tumor or something in there, would the x Ray have at least shiwn something abnormal, even if they weren't able to tell exactly what it was?

There's are no 100% certainties in this life, but it is highly likely such an abnormality would be spotted.

Thanks for replying. I would think it would show as well, but the nature of my HA makes me doubt things. I felt better right after the x Ray, but doubt is creeping in now.

I'm wondering this too, but for different reasons.

I keep thinking I should go get a barium one done to ease my mind. :huh:
