Numbness in leg

Hi everyone. About 2 weeks ago I took my son to the park and very embarrassingly I fell over and hurt my leg. It was grazed and bruised and that seems to have healed but where I hurt myself it feels a bit numb. Any ideas what may have caused this? I'm starting to get very anxious and panicky.
