My teeth are terrible I have an impacted wisdom tooth that has caused my molar to stick out sideways my tongue rubs on it now my tongue feels weird . I walked out the dentist because they wanted to fill my impacted tooth as it has a cavity . I’m petrified. I’m going to have to pluck up the courage and go private . The dentist wasn’t accomadating to my fears :( I feel sick
You don’t necessarily have to go private - just tell them how scared you are. Maybe do it in advance over the phone.

Is it possible to switch NHS dentists?
My dentist many years ago (when I was a kid) wasn't that great with patients but my new practice are brilliant. Very understanding. I had to ring them up after a night of no sleep working myself up with anxiety when I had just relapsed and started meds (needed a broken wisdom tooth out) and they were great, didn't even charge me which I wasn't fussed about paying anyway.
