Ive had HA for over 20 years. And it seems to get worse as I get older. Really not a day goes by without me getting anxious about some symptom, some little twinge or pimple, aches and pains.
What on earth am I going to be like in old age when everyone has health issues?
Why can't I react like normal people?
For instance I have a sore on my gum. A normal person would probably ignore it and maybe use a salt wash. But me? I have to google, look at photos, imagine myself going to the dentist, fainting in the chair........and I go into a paralysing panic mode where I can't eat or sleep and I actually make myself ill worrying about it. It affects my whole life and interferes with everything I do.
Why do I overreact to every little symptom?
Its as though my mind continually scans my body looking for something to panic about.
