I am currently experiencing waves of pain in my right side, radiating from below my ribs up to my right shoulder blade. I need to breathe through the waves. I'm also experiencing terrible reflux and gassiness. The pain also radiates to my jaw. I'm having trouble dealing with the pain and not panicking each time a wave hits. It's clouding my judgment and making me worry that something more sinister than reflux is happening. I hate that I'm losing control. It's been so long since I've visited the ER and I'm concerned I'm going to lose the battle.

So far, so good. The pains went away. I’m still feeling sick (gas, reflux and nausea), and still feel on edge because of the panic. But, I’m in bed now, and glad the panic passed. It’s so hard in those moments, but I’m proud of myself tonight.
