I am not sure why you are even posting this Helen - what is going on - you are ignoring us all again
Eye twitch 7 months.... √
Yours won't last this long but seriously, one day and you're posting ... :)

Everyone has some muscle twitches. I don't want to be rude helenhoo, but i was reading your topics and this is getting really ridiculous. I think you really need some radical help, posting every stupid "symptom" and seeking reassurance is not gonna improve your state of mind. Of course eye twitch can be sign of ALS, MS and probably Brain Tumor but in 99.9999% of cases its just stupid muscle twitch that everyone experience. Our bodies are not perfect and I guess you need to accept it finally. Sorry but I don't believe it will happen on this forum.
I've seen a neurologist about mine and he's said that he's never seen anyone present with an eye twitch for ALS....just saying.

Helen, can you not got any more CBT sessions? Last time you went you seemed so much better.
I'm run down with a cold at the moment and I haven't been sleeping the best but of course my anxiety worries.
All day I've had constant upper eye lid twitch boyf says it's lack of sleep?

I get eye lid twitching when I'm stressed. It's gone on for a week before.
I’ve just had mine stop yesterday but I had it for two weeks! It’s happened before like that too!
Could have written this myself. Right upper lid twitching for days. Can’t be lack of sleep cause I’m in Spain and have done nothing but sleep!!!
Guys, this is literally nothing, it is the most benign common nothingness you could imagine. It could just be that a small nerve or muscle around the eye is tired or irritated. I once had it for 12 months in one eye!
What causes eyelid twitches?
Eyelid spasms may occur without any identifiable cause. Since they’re rarely a sign of a serious problem, the cause is not usually investigated. Nevertheless, eyelid twitches may be caused or made worse by:
eye irritation
eyelid strain
fatigue (https://www.healthline.com/symptom/fatigue)
lack of sleep
physical exertion
medication side effects
stress (https://www.healthline.com/health/stress)
use of alcohol (https://www.healthline.com/health/alcohol/effects-on-body), tobacco (https://www.healthline.com/health/smoking/effects-on-body), or caffeine (https://www.healthline.com/health/caffeine-effects-on-body)
Hi Reb
How is the pregnancy going?
Has your GP referred you for further treatment for you MH problems?
No offence but it has been nice that you haven't been posting much recently.
I hope that this means things are getting better and this is just a wee blip.
Yesterday happened once and today a few times, right wuebrow twitched, assuming it's upper eyelid? Should I be worried.

No you shouldn't. :D
Twitches are very normal. I get them all the time.

Helen, use your CBT exercises to work it out rather than asking for re assurance
Our fingers, eyes, bodies twitch for no reason, if you have been stressed, lack of vitamins, not enough sleep, etc it can happen, I had finger twitches every day for two months, when I was first diagnosed with anxiety, two days ago my anxiety was way high and my finger started twitching, you're fine.

If it's any consolation I've been noticing them on and off for the last 40+ years and I am still here. It is genuinely nothing to worry about.
