Hi, long time no post. I've gotten my anxiety under control for the most part except for one thing that's a little scary.. I'm 21, I was diagnosed with GAD at 18. Before I was diagnosed, I would drink alcohol and have no scary heart problems. I recently started to drink again after 2 1/2 years and I notice every time I do my heart instantly starts beating faster and I feel minor chest pain just a few minutes later. The palpitations are so bad after I just take a few sips, I don't even have to be drinking a lot. I've had my heart checked on ekg's and had an echocardiogram around 2 years ago and it was fine but these heart palpitations and chest pain after just a couple sips are worrisome because just 3 years ago I didn't have them. I have no idea what could be the cause.. could I just be anxious without even realizing it or do I have an undiscovered health issue? Thanks in advance.
