Yep, you’ve guessed it. Me + Dental X-Ray = brain tumour fear
So I’m unlucky in that my Dental ‘genetics’ aren’t great. I’m only 24 but already all of my top molars are filled, a few on the bottom AND a bottom rear molar extracted. My dad was the same at my age.
My dentist has reassured me it’s unfortunately genetic.
I have been told by many people I have a great set of teeth - but obviously, looks ARE deceiving.
Over the past few years I’ve had probably around 10 bitewing x rays. Today, I went to the dentist. My last bitewing was Jan 2017. So she did another. It revealed small decay in a bottom tooth. Nothing else.
Of course, in my head, all these dental X-rays will give me a brain tumour. Has anyone else had as many bitewings as me?
